SAXBERG DESIGN | CREATIVE and Robyn Saxberg
Multimedia Professional and Creative Visual Artist
SD|C was first envisioned predominately as an Interior Design firm in 2016 and was realized in Hamilton, ON Canada. Robyn Saxberg relocated the business, home to Thunder Bay in 2018 to be close to family and when the business was hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, Robyn–being a resourceful problem solver, began to reimagine and redesign its future.
Prior to its redevelopment, much of SD|C’s opportunities in Thunder Bay have come from technological and creative pursuits such as art, web design, and performances so the business was rebuilt in 2021 to focus on pursuing and cultivating these creative passions and to grow within this new virtually centred world.
We always say “create with both hands” partly because Robyn Saxberg is an ambidextrous artist and because we believe that’s what it takes to truly immerse yourself in a project. Both hands and your whole heart. Throughout our history we have strived to pour everything we have into each and every project, each and every relationship, and each and every endeavour.
Robyn Saxberg has been an artist in Thunder Bay since 2018. In that time she has been delighted to display her artwork in shops around the city and has participated in exhibitions prior to COVID-19 such as the Vox Popular Film Festival Gala event fine art exhibit in September 2018 and the Baggage Building’s Spring Show in April 2019.
SD|C offers a wide range of web and graphic design services including logo design and editing, website design, social media management, and full scale brand management.
We use many high quality programs in our work and we’re happy to work with any tools you’re already familiar and comfortable with.
Robyn Saxberg has been exploring opportunities for pre-recorded video performances and voiceover work since the start of the pandemic in 2020. SD|C offers pre-recorded live performances for local, national and international projects; and voiceover work for audiobooks, radio, television, characters, and e-learning. View SD|C’s Voiceovers & Video page for more information.
Robyn loves to participate in in-person events when it is safe to do so. Robyn has performed in Southern and Northwestern Ontario for 7 years as a feature Artist in weddings and stadium events and she is looking forward to expanding her performance offerings to include in-person concerts and other community events in Spring, 2022.
“Robyn contributes her skills with Habitat Hamilton as a designer, a build committee member, and as a build site crew leader. She is a pleasure to work with, and successfully leads volunteers from all walks of life through the construction of our homes. Robyn is an active participant in committee meetings, and has a keen eye to envision and evolve a space into something that is both functional and beautiful. Thanks for all you do, Robyn!”
~ Sean Farris, Habitat Hamilton Executive Director (2018)
SD|C and Habitat for Humanity, Hamilton | Habitat Canada
Saxberg Design | Creative has great passion for making meaningful contributions to our local community. Robyn was also given the honour of being invited to perform the national anthem on behalf of Habitat Canada at the National Conference and AGM in Hamilton, ON Canada in 2018.

During this time, she earned numerous awards for her academic achievements and discovered her passion for visual art and technology.
In the past 15 years Robyn has worked with with many 2D and 3D design programs. She enjoys discovering and learning new programs to keep her skills competitive and at the forefront of industry standard in all her endeavours.
“Robyn did a fantastic job designing our basement. Her care and attention to detail were second to none and she took on board all of our design choices and moulded them into something that fit both our budget and our specifications. We could not be happier with the final result! I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone, whether they are looking to totally redesign a whole room or to breathe life into an old space.”
